Here is a card that I made for one of my best friends whose husband just found out he will be facing his second battle with cancer :(
The poem inside reads:
God had not promised skies always blue
Flower-strewn pathways all our lives through;
God has not promised sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow, peace without pain.
But God has promised strength for the day,
rest for the labor, light for the way,
Grace for the trials, help from above,
Unfailing sympathy, undying love.
I used the Wild Card cartridge for the base of the card, and then my paper trimmer and corner rounder for the layers. The brown swirly frame is from the Storybook cartridge stretched out using the design studio.
Thanks for looking :) And please feel free to send any prayers her way. They will all be greatly appreciated.
