I decided to make a birthday card for my cousin, and I took the opportunity to try out a few new things :) The first is the swirly flowery looking things (sorry, I don't know the correct name for them), which were surprisingly easy to make. I will try to find the link to the blog video I discovered them on and post it on here later. This is also the first card I used craft floss to help dress up the buttons :) Thanks for stopping by :)
Sorry about the flash, the stamp says "Birthdays are good for you. The more you have, the longer you live." :)
Since it's been a while I decided to go ahead and enter it into the following challenges this week:
City Crafter Challenge Blog~week 37 **anything with a stamp on it**
My Time Craft Challenge~121 **make a project using something brand spanking new to you on it**
Party Time Tuesdays~#27 **anything birthday related goes**
Great card, love your 'swirly flowery looking things' lol! Thanks for taking part in the MTTC challenge xx
ReplyDeleteWow! You are really out-doing yourself. I love them flowers. How did you get them to stay on your card?

Lovely rosettes ... and a fab sentiment ... thanks for playing along at CCCB
ReplyDeleteRosettes!! That's what they're called! lol Thank you Ros :)
ReplyDeleteGeogiana, I just used the 1/2 inch glue dots to glue them to the card (but a hot glue gun to glue them together). Here's the link to the video at love4stamps that showed me how to make them:
